For VW Golf and VW Passat 2.0TDi 170bhp engines originally fitted with 757042-0010/13/14/15 turbos.
VW Golf TDi 171bhp 2.0, engine code BMN, 2006->, OEM No. 03G253010AV100.
VW Passat TDi 171bhp 2.0, engine code DPF PQ35, 2005->, OEM No. 03G253010AV100.
MDX550 hybrid turbo replaces 757042-0010, 757042-0013, 757042-0014, 757042-0015 & 757042-5015S turbocharger.
This hybrid turbo benefits from Turbo Dynamics own design billet aluminium compressor wheel, not only does billet offer significantly improved strength and durability over the original cast aluminium wheels if used correctly the material can be used to make the wheel lighter. A lighter compressor wheel will spool quicker allowing for a better response from the turbocharger meaning a reduction in turbo lag. The billet aluminium compressor wheels are up to 20% lighter than the originally used cast items.
